During my Wabash College internship at the Enrollment Office, I was immersed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that provided me with invaluable insights into the world of marketing in higher education administration. As an intern, I had the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the enrollment process and gain hands-on experience that complemented my academic studies. One of the most enriching aspects of my internship was the chance to work closely with the Enrollment Office team. From the moment I joined, I was welcomed with open arms and given meaningful responsibilities. I had the privilege of assisting in communications with prospective students and families, helping to organize campus tours and information sessions, and even participating in recruitment events both on and off campus. These experiences not only allowed me to develop my organizational and communication skills but also fostered a deep appreciation for the work that goes into attracting and admitting students to attend Wabash College.

Furthermore, I was able to spearhead numerous projects when it came to marketing Wabash College. I was able to see the projects that I was working on throughout the summer go into the hands of prospective students and families during their visits. Being able to see something that you worked hard on becoming circulated to hundreds of families was a really cool sight to see.

Beyond the technical aspects of the internship, I was fortunate to be part of a team that genuinely cared about the success and well-being of its students. The mentors and colleagues I worked with were always available to provide guidance, answer questions, and share their wisdom. Their dedication and passion for their work inspired me to pursue a career in
marketing after my undergraduate studies conclude.

Overall, my Wabash College internship at the Enrollment Office was an incredibly rewarding experience. It equipped me with the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to excel in the field of communications and marketing. I want to thank Caitlin Ebbinghaus and Nikki Galloway for their help and mentorship throughout the duration of this internship. I highly recommend this position to anyone who is interested in a career in marketing.
