Portrait of John Collett
This still life painting is donated by John Collett. As an alumnus of Wabash College he was a successful banker in Indianapolis and acted as the president of the board of trustees from 1965 to 1975. He generously made many donations to the college including the tennis court, which was named after him. He was a member of the “Fiji” fraternity on Wabash campus. Collett’s portrait still hangs outside of the Goodrich room in the Lilly Library.
