Buenos dias, Wabash!

The time has flown down here in Buenos Aires – April already! After a week speaking (almost) no English, I finally feel like my Spanish is beginning to improve! Life in the city is starting to feel normal, and everyone is beginning to really crack down on their Independent Study Projects that will begin next month. We’re starting to branch out and make new friends in the city – real porteños (Buenos Aires dwellers), and the cultural immersion is a blast! We even attended a night-long full-moon drum-circle celebration this weekend, “Tambores y La Luna.” I’ve also started having confrontations with the small dog living in our apartment – Lola. If she’s not laying on the ground in front of me, she is bouncing 5 feet in the air barking. I’ve about had it, but I guess I’ll have to survive.
