Professor of English Agata Szczeszak-Brewer’s personal essay “Mushrooms” was published in Hektoen International: A Journal of Medical Humanities. Earlier, in the summer, the piece was selected as one of six semi-finalists for the Frank McCourt Memoir Prize.
