Professor of English Marcus Hudson’s poetry was published in the Spring 2014 issues of Poet Lore and Christianity and Literature. His poem “Sugar Creek Sutras” is published in the Spring 2014 edition of Silk Road Review.

In July 2014 he was the writing instructor for the inaugural float trip for Niches Land Trust’s “Long-Term Ecological Reflections on Wildcat Creek.” You can read his journal entries on the Niches Web site, as well as those of his students.

Last spring he finished his third year as a panelist for the Indiana Authors Awards sponsored by the Glick Fund and the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

In March, he attended the Associated Writing Programs Conference in Seattle and also took part in a celebration of the life and work of his beloved teacher and mentor Nelson Bentley.
