Who We Are: MSA at Wabash College is an inclusive and diverse community that encourages discussion on religious topics and seeks to educate young men on Islam.
What We Do: The Muslim Student Association hosts various all campus events, trying to bridge the gap between the non-muslim community, domestic muslims, and international students who identify as muslims. We hold various social events such as “Feast With MSA” throughout the year, publish a discussion based podcast series titled “Islam 101: The Challenges and Choices of Understand Islam and the Muslim Civilization”. We publish articles representing various Islamic points of views, written by our own community members, host and encourage learning Arabic via resources provided by different Muslim Organizations among many other things.
Where Do We Meet: Usually members will meet anywhere that is convenient for them to get together at, however, the MSA does have a specific room reserved for it in the basement of Martindale Hall, it’s a mosque named ‘Masjid Al- Noor’ and was established in 2001.
Number Of Active Members: As of Spring 2017, We Had Around 11 to 12 Active Members.
