Nate Scola – Class of 2014<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Nate Scola, standout linebacker for the Little Giants, graduated last Sunday. \u00a0The football fan in me wonders the same thing that I do every year. \u00a0Who will step up and take Nate’s place? More importantly, can they dominate the way Nate dominated?<\/p>\n

At that point, I reassure myself that the team will be fine.<\/p>\n

But this isn’t about football…it’s about Nate as scholar-athlete. \u00a0You see, Nate graduated with Honors<\/em><\/strong> Sunday. \u00a0He has a couple of extra Latin words on his sheepskin I still can’t find on mine. \u00a0At a lot of schools, you’d NEVER<\/strong>\u00a0find a middle linebacker with a GPA like that. \u00a0NEVER. \u00a0Might hurt their persona.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nate’s the real deal. \u00a0100% linebacker – heck, look at the look!!! \u00a0Good student. \u00a0He’s taken Wabash seriously.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can’t read the two pins he has on his graduation “uniform” so I’ll fill you in. \u00a0The top one says: “Always Means ALWAYS!” \u00a0 The other? \u00a0His Wabash alumnus pin.<\/p>\n
