The rewarding part of this work is I get to know some really, really good guys. \u00a0Guys I wouldn’t have known otherwise. \u00a0One of those guys is Cory Olson ’85.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I first started in Alumni Relations, Cory was part of the great Dallas crowd – a super bunch of guys. \u00a0Have to admit, there aren’t alumni stops higher on my list than the Dallas one. \u00a0Still aren’t.<\/p>\n

Cory’s work took him to Miami – yet another opportunity he said he “couldn’t refuse”. \u00a0Now today I get an email announcing that Cory’s the new President of LNR Properties<\/a>. \u00a0In his own style, Cory noted “Tom, they still haven’t found me out.” \u00a0That implies he’s been lucky. \u00a0Not even close. \u00a0Cory’s one of these guys who KNOWS the investment business – backward and forward and inside and out. \u00a0He’s a great people person. \u00a0He’s a true friend.<\/p>\n

Can’t think of a better guy for the job or a better person to work with and for.<\/p>\n

High uppity-up degree? \u00a0Yep – AB in History from Wabash College – Liberal Arts in action!!!<\/p>\n

Congrats my friend! \u00a0Well done!<\/p>\n
