During yesterday’s Tech Talk, we highlighted some of the main technology changes we made on campus this summer. It’s been a busy summer, and we hope the campus finds the upgrades and enhancements useful.
Highlights include:
- Wireless network access now available campus-wide, including student living units
- New computers installed in Lilly Library Lab and Baxter 214 Social Science lab
- New projectors installed in 16 classrooms and new computers installed in 18 classrooms
- Supercarts featuring improved audio/video capability and guest connectivity installed in 33 classrooms
- Offered 21 classes in our first “Summer Tech School” program
- Installed dual-boot iMac lab in the Media Center
- New storage area network provides an additional 12 terabytes of storage space
