Yesterday afternoon we held our annual end-of-the-year party for our student lab operators and help desk assistants. We’ll have a party on Thursday afternoon for our media center student workers.

Student workers play a crucial role in supporting technology at Wabash.  Our student employees install computers and other equipment during the summer, help faculty and staff with computer problems, monitor computer labs and answer student questions, film campus events, and assist with multimedia projects, to name a few of their contributions.

In fact, during the current academic year, IT student workers have closed 728 work orders and help tickets. Put simply, we could not function as a department without the capable work our students provide.

On behalf of everyone in IT Services, I would especially like to thank our twelve graduating seniors, who will be greatly missed:
