Apple Computer Issues Battery Recall

Here we go again! Apple has announced a battery recall for the following laptops:

12-inch iBook G4
12-inch PowerBook G4
15-inch PowerBook G4

Go to http://www.apple.com/support/batteryexchange/faq/ for more information on the recall and to see what batteries are affected.

Once again, you are responsible for your personal computer but IT Services can help you identify your battery. Any college-owned Apple laptop batteries should be brought to IT Services to be replaced. Apple recommends that you not use the laptop with a suspect battery. Remove the battery and operate it with the power adapter.
