Throughout the first year, orientation continues with monthly meetings with the New Faculty Orientation co-chairs, in sessions that focus on a range of professional topics\u00a0of interest to new faculty (such as using mid-course feedback, oral comprehensive exams for seniors, and leading effective class discussions). New faculty are also assigned a faculty mentor, typically from outside of their department and often academic division, who will meet with the new faculty member throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>New faculty receive their Wabash emails and accounts after July 1. At that point, new faculty will be able to access our <a href=\"https:\/\/wabash.instructure.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canvas<\/a>\u00a0page for New Faculty Orientation.
