This summer I was able to gain the insights and experiences of the sales industry while doing an internship for Tony Unfried and his company CSA360. It is a security software management platform and I was able to learn a little bit about the company and did my best to sell the platform to dozens of prospects. I had the opportunity to make tons of calls to security professionals within the sports world including NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL teams. With that, I had the chance to have an in-depth meeting with a security professional from the Baltimore Ravens which provided me with some great understandings on how security management in the NFL is handled and talked about. The key highlights of the summer that I would like touch on is the everyday sales process and having that never say no mentality when doing prospecting and I would really like to thank Jalen Turpen. He taught me how to handle and respond to a variety of different situations with clients and the proper way to go about sales. The one thing I really learned about myself by going through this sales experience this summer was that I have grown a lot in the sense of talking to different people from different industries. Getting a deeper knowledge of the security software industry was another great takeaway from this summer because I had no previous knowledge of this and it was great to learn more. In ending, this summer provided me with a lot of personal growth and expectations of what is to come in the real world after college. It was an experience I know I needed to have to gain some insight on the sales adventure it truly is. I am not sure if life will take me in the sales direction, but if it does, I know I can lean back on this summer and what I was taught to get me started and keep me motivated for what\u2019s to come. I want to again give my love and appreciation to Tony Unfried and Jalen Turpen for providing me with this opportunity.
