South Water Caye is in the heart of a large Marine Reserve in the Caribbean and sits directly\u00a0on Belize&#8217;s\u00a0barrier reef.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Students will spend most of their time in the water as they explore\u00a0the various\u00a0habitats adjacent to the island such as patch\u00a0reefs, mangroves, and\u00a0the deeper water of the\u00a0fore\u00a0reef; they&#8217;ll also be able to experience the dynamic intertidal zone as they search for snails, worms, seastars, corals, and the occasional octopus or squid.
