The trip to Auschwitz is genuinely one that will stick with me for as long as I live. It was a very tragic but still life-changing experience to see and learn about the atrocities committed within the camps. While reading in class Tadeusz Borowski\u2019s This Way for the Gas, Ladies, and Gentlemen<\/em>, one can never fully imagine or even comprehend the true extent of the concentration camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing these events’ true horrors and images truly stays with your heart and mind. One moment that I will never forget is that of going into the gas chamber and seeing the fingernail markings and the dimly lit room where thousands of people were murdered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is truly a horror depicted in Borowski\u2019s book and an experience one must see in one’s lifetime. It is one of the most life-changing experiences one can have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
