{"id":1977,"date":"2024-05-08T14:50:28","date_gmt":"2024-05-08T14:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/immersionlearning\/?p=1977"},"modified":"2025-02-13T16:07:12","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T16:07:12","slug":"lunch-in-krakow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/immersionlearning\/2024\/05\/08\/lunch-in-krakow\/","title":{"rendered":"Lunch in Krakow"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>By Samuel Santiago<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While waiting during our layover from Krak\u00f3w to Warsaw, it was decided that we were going to the historic Krak\u00f3w Old Town, this was a time for guys to walk around and stretch after our nine-hour flight, get some food for lunch, whatever they wanted rather than staying at the airport for another six hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While arriving in Krak\u00f3w\u2019s Old Town, many locals were celebrating Ukrainian Easter, which is celebrated on the 5<sup>th<\/sup> of May. Many were surrounded the sidewalk. After arriving in the Old Town, many of the guys went to the Bulldog Bar which was one of the first restaurants we saw when we got to the center of the Krak\u00f3w Old Town. We walked around the whole area but eventually decided on the Bulldog Bar as our best option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our hour break while on our lay over, many guys decided to have their first legal beer in Poland.
