He brought along his experiences, stories, and humor to talk about the Wabash experience.&#160;Hear the full talk by clicking here for the <a href=\"http:\/\/caleb.wabash.edu\/podcast\/2008_2_7_Hoffman.mp3\"><strong>Podcast<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"left\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/www2images\/Hoffman-300.jpg\" \/>Hoffman was a football and baseball player during his college days relating many anecdotes that the athletes and others in Chapel could easily enjoy.&#160;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cWabash is about people and personal relationships,\u201d he said. It\u2019s about pride and relationships and it has been for 175 years.\u201d&#160;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">He had fun with his double-play partner of the 80s, Mike Raters \u201985 \u2013 Assistant Dean of Students.&#160;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Hoffman talked about his job in fundraising, and noted many people tell him they could not do what he does. \u201cI call on alums and just talk about Wabash College,\u201d he explained. \u201cI\u2019m helping them do what they want to do any way.\u201d&#160;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">He recalled many special moments and stories he lived as a student, he\u2019s heard as an employee, and that have been passed on by alumni.
