Adams returned to Muncie in 1887 after studying in Munich for seven years. Adams choose a great town in which to start his professional art career, because there were no other professional artists, and Muncie was growing into a prosperous city that desperately needed skilled artists. Adams was in the right place at the right time with the right skills and attitude.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Adams honed his landscape painting skills during his time in Muncie, which allowed him to become a well-known landscape artist. Adams spread his love for art in Muncie by offering art classes in his third-floor studio.
