As an alumnus of Wabash College he was a successful banker in Indianapolis and acted\u00a0as the president of the board of trustees from\u00a01965 to 1975. He generously made many donations to the college including the tennis court, which was named after him. He was a member of the \u201cFiji\u201d fraternity on Wabash campus. Collett\u2019s portrait still hangs outside of the Goodrich room in the Lilly Library.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/elstoncollection\/t-c-steele-still-life\/\">Back to the main page on\u00a0T.
