While today we refer to the series as the &#8220;Bell Game,&#8221; that is not quite accurate. The trophy, a locomotive bell, was given to the rivalry in 1932 (our centennial year) by the railroad which ran the train from Crawfordsville to Greencastle &#8211; the Monon Line.\u00a0 That first year neither school won it as there was a scoreless tie &#8211; 0 to 0. It is a great rivalry and it is amazing how close the series remains.
