I thought it might be fun to post that picture along with this next one of the pool hall &#8211; now known as the Bookstore.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/dearoldwabash\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2010\/10\/pool-hall.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-189\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/dearoldwabash\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2010\/10\/pool-hall.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"191\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/dearoldwabash\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2010\/10\/pool-hall.jpg 500w, https:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/dearoldwabash\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2010\/10\/pool-hall-300x114.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>As we see, the changes to both of these areas have been substantial. One place that has not changed is the Scarlet Inn. It is still the place to go for a bite to eat, a great cup of coffee and some good conversation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/dearoldwabash\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2010\/10\/Scarlett-Inn-as-built.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-190\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/dearoldwabash\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2010\/10\/Scarlett-Inn-as-built.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"196\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/dearoldwabash\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2010\/10\/Scarlett-Inn-as-built.jpg 500w, https:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/dearoldwabash\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2010\/10\/Scarlett-Inn-as-built-300x117.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>Quite a few legends in this picture &#8211; among others, Ed Haenisch ordering at the counter, young Ben Rogge looking right at the camera and that is Bob Harvey seated.<\/p>\n<p>I should add that the building was originally the Campus Center and later named the Sparks Center in honor of our President Sparks, the driving force behind the project.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy this peek into the past!<\/p>\n<p>Me?
