Schroeder \u201969<\/strong> will be inducted into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juniorachievement.org\/web\/ja-swindiana\/business-hall-of-fame\">Evansville&#8217;s Regional Business Hall of Fame<\/a> on March 9.\u00a0 The event recognizes icons of Evansville\u2019s commerce and for their business excellence, vision, innovations, inspiring leadership and community service to the greater Evansville area.<\/p>\n<p><em>John\u2019s inductee bio:<\/em>\u00a0 \u201cJohn Schroeder has led Crescent Plastics, Inc. and Wabash Plastics, Inc. as President and Chief Executive Officer for nearly 30 years.\u00a0 His leadership and management skills led to the successful growth of those companies and their sister companies.\u00a0 Schroeder&#8217;s service on boards includes Signature School Foundation Board, the Board of Directors of Old National Bank Community Board, Wabash College Board of Trustees, and almost 24 years on University of Evansville Board of Trustees, including three years as Chairman.\u00a0 He is a member of the Indiana Academy, past chair of the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center Board, a life member of Keep Evansville Beautiful, and current Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Welborn Baptist Foundation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>John\u2019s father, John H. Schroeder \u201942, Trustee of Wabash College 1982-1994, was a previous Evansville Regional Business Hall of Fame Laureate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John C.
