Rogers &#8217;95<\/strong>, associate professor of political science in the Arkansas Tech University Department of History and Political Science, is among 21 scholars from around the United States who collaborated to study a perceived decline in civic literacy among American citizens.\u00a0 The outcome of their inquiry is recorded in \u201cCivic Education in the Twenty-First Century: A Multidimensional Inquiry.\u201d\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arkansastechnews.com\/university\/rogers-co-edits-book-on-civic-literacy\/\">Click here<\/a> to read the news release.<\/p>\n<p>After Wabash, Mike earned his Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at the University of Albany-SUNY.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wabash faculty are also included as authors of chapters in the book:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rhetoric Professors Sara A. Mehltretter Drury<\/strong> and <strong>Jeffrey P. Mehltretter Drury<\/strong> are co-authors of the chapter &#8220;Engagement through the Oval Office:\u00a0 Presidential Rhetoric as Civic Education,&#8221; and <strong>Political Science Professor Shamira M.
