{"id":865,"date":"2009-06-02T09:57:50","date_gmt":"2009-06-02T09:57:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/2009\/06\/02\/big-bash-week-a-whole-new-meaning-for-the-grunge\/"},"modified":"2009-06-02T09:57:50","modified_gmt":"2009-06-02T09:57:50","slug":"big-bash-week-a-whole-new-meaning-for-the-grunge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.wabash.edu\/alumninews\/2009\/06\/02\/big-bash-week-a-whole-new-meaning-for-the-grunge\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Bash Week &#8211; A Whole New Meaning For the Grunge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, we&#8217;re pretty busy in our office right now -everyone is busting their backsides to make sure the 350+ alumni we&#8217;re expecting, and their families, have a good time at the Bash. &nbsp;As such the days have been pretty long&#8230;but nobody has complained.<\/p>\n<p>The weather looks good for the weekend. &nbsp;Usual summer stuff&#8230;but otherwise&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>This just in!<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"428\" height=\"285\" align=\"top\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/www2images\/storm 1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A thunderstorm with high winds just happened to knock over a tree in my backyard. &nbsp;From this view, not too bad. &nbsp;Could have been much worse. &nbsp;However, the front looks long and ugly, which means a lot of rain. &nbsp;So, the fact that one limb is in our computer room and another is stuck in our attic&#8230;well, it just tests a person&#8217;s flexibility, doesn&#8217;t it. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"428\" height=\"285\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/www2images\/storm 2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So, if I seem a little distracted and take a call or two from USAA in Texas during the Bash, blame it on my inability to multi-task as well as the old days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, we&#8217;re pretty busy in our office right now -everyone is busting their backsides to make sure the 350+ alumni we&#8217;re expecting, and their families, have a good time at the Bash.
