Akers \u201968<\/strong> has written a new book of daily meditations:\u00a0 <em>Morning and Evening Meditations from the Word of God: Education, Challenge, Inspiration, and Encouragement<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSevere hearing disability forced me to stop teaching Bible classes that I had been doing for nearly 30 years,\u201d writes Akers. \u201cI started writing these meditations to compensate for the loss of my teaching ministry.
