John spent last summer working with a research team at the IU School of Medicine. He plans to continue his research this coming summer and following graduation attend medical school.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\">It\u2019s one thing to do this kind of research \u2013 a life experience. It\u2019s another to stand there and talk with a well-known doctor, on a virtually equal footing, about something they both see as critical research with life-saving implications.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\">John will be a difference maker, I\u2019m sure. &nbsp;Just like Jim Cumming &#8217;61 and so many others\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Celebration of Student Research on Friday, January 27, 2006 has been covered elsewhere on our web site (click here) \u2013 it was simply incredible.
