Gary James &#8217;10 taught in Washington D.C. after graduation and has most recently worked in communications.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7372\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7372\" style=\"width: 90px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/files\/2014\/02\/Gary1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7372\" title=\"Gary1\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/files\/2014\/02\/Gary1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"90\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7372\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">James &#8217;10<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>James &#8217;10 has been named Manager of Regional Communications. He will provide support and leadership for 12 Managing Directors of Regional Communications in excecuting media plans for Teach for America&#8217;s 48 regions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7364\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7364\" style=\"width: 90px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/files\/2014\/02\/Jeremy.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7364\" title=\"Jeremy\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/files\/2014\/02\/Jeremy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"90\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7364\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Robinson &#8217;04<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>James\u00a0 is just the latest Wabash grad to continue his career in the education field after completing his classroom commitment. Jeremy Robinson &#8217;04x was on campus for a recruitment event last week. After his teaching commitment in Chicago, he earned a masters at Oxford and returned to Chicago where he teaches in a charter\u00a0 school, Rauner College Prep.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7363\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7363\" style=\"width: 90px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/files\/2014\/02\/Patrick.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7363\" title=\"Patrick\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/files\/2014\/02\/Patrick.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"90\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7363\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">McAlister &#8217;10<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>James&#8217; classmate Patrick McAlister &#8217;10 also was a TFA classroom instructor, and then worked for TFA. This week he began new duties at Teach Plus as the new Network Coordinator. &#8220;I\u2019m thrilled to be part of an organization that helps teachers use their classroom experience to build policies that will lead to better outcomes for their kids,&#8221; McAlister said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Howard Hewitt &#8211; Another Wabash alum is continuing his career with Teach for America.
