Yesterday, my travels took me to Alamo, Indiana. I drove through every nook and cranny of the place and never found a sign that said “Alamo”. Too bad. “Reduced Speed Ahead” is as close as I got.<\/p>\n

I had noticed that Indiana 25, which runs south of Waynetown, ended at Indiana 32 on its way toward Alamo. Alamo has a celebrated past but I came away with a sense that’s its future is in doubt.<\/p>\n

The gym in Alamo is for sale. Wouldn’t it be great if someone bought it and returned it to its previous glory? Or something close?<\/p>\n
