Dan\u00a0has written several posts for\u00a0the online <em>New York Times Opinionator<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Wabash College Archivist Beth Swift shared this about his column\u00a0today:<\/em><br \/>\n&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com\/2013\/08\/16\/across-the-cumberlands\/\">Today&#8217;s posting\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0is special because it features one of the Wabash College Ramsay Archives\u2019 great holdings:\u00a0 \u201cThree Years in the Saddle &#8211; The Civil War Diary of Henry Campbell, a prep student at Wabash.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This diary is so full of details of interest to scholars, that Beth and her staff have scanned it and posted it to view online at:\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/replica.palni.edu\/cdm\/search\/collection\/saddle\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/replica.palni.edu\/cdm\/search\/collection\/saddle<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of Wabash\u2019s Civil War 150th Anniversary, the Lilly Library will have a display about Campbell later this month and will hold a Civil War Symposium on campus in September, including a celebration of the newly published book, <em>500 Strong: Wabash College Students in the Civil War<\/em> (edited by Professor Emeritus of History Dr. James J. Barnes H\u201991 and Patience P.
