Big Bash 2013<\/strong> is just two days away, and Scarlet Yarns, Your Wabash in Story and Song<\/em><\/strong><\/span> is back for its sixth reunion year!\u00a0 If you will be on campus this weekend, we invite you to stop by Lilly Library to tell your own Wabash story, which doesn’t have to be the funniest, or the wildest or the most dramatic.<\/p>\n

YOUR\u00a0memories are what matter to YOU — Favorite Prof, Lively Class, Fraternity or Dorm Life, the Big Game, Old and Lifelong Friends —\u00a0you don’t have to come with a prepared talk —\u00a0let Big Bash weekend awaken some memories long forgotten!<\/p>\n

Patterned after the Story Corps<\/em><\/strong> project heard on National Public Radio, Scarlet Yarns<\/em><\/strong> <\/span>is a collaboration between Ramsay Archives, Alumni Relations, and Wabash Magazine<\/em> to record on digital video the stories about alumni and \u00a0their days at Wabash.\u00a0 The recordings will be preserved in the Ramsay Archival Center at Wabash, some stories will be transcribed for use in the Wabash Magazine<\/em>, and a commemorative DVD may be purchased.<\/p>\n

The Scarlet Yarns Studio is located on the first floor of Lilly Library.\u00a0 If you would like to schedule a specific time during the hours listed below, please contact the phone or email below before you arrive. Or, \u00a0stop by\u00a0to tell your story on a first-come basis, where\u00a0College staff will be on hand to assist in the recording, guided by our media technical specialists.<\/p>\n
