\n<\/em>Q.<\/strong>\u00a0 What’s something your students might not know about you?
\n<\/em>A.\u00a0<\/strong> I played football for Westfield High School’s current head coach, Jake Gilbert, while he was coaching at Wabash College!<\/p>\n

Josh took advantage of\u00a0\u00a0Wabash\u2019s 9th<\/sup> semester option,\u00a0completing his\u00a0semester of student teaching after graduating in May 2011.\u00a0 Josh was a recipient of the\u00a0“Outstanding Future Educator Award,”<\/a> presented\u00a0at the\u00a0Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education annual dinner.<\/p>\n

Josh majored in History, but temporarily taught\u00a0Economics and Computer Applications for his first assignment.\u00a0 \u00a0He commented on his Wabash preparation for teaching:\u00a0 “Although I was never trained in business or entrepreneurship, thanks to Wabash, I was more than adequately prepared. My liberal arts education certainly allowed me to think on my feet, continue to learn, and tie my own content knowledge to lessons in both business and entrepreneurship.\u201d<\/p>\n
