Dir. at Chamber of Commerce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Steve House has been appointed the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/files\/2013\/03\/steve-house.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-5792\" title=\"steve house\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.wabash.edu\/alumni\/files\/2013\/03\/steve-house.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"191\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.journalreview.com\/news\/article_9829b810-852f-11e2-bc49-0019bb2963f4.html\">new executive director <\/a>of the Crawfordsville\/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p>Coach House was assistant football coach at Wabash and Director of Student Activities and Coordinator of Special Events for many years until he retired in 2010.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/m.wabash.edu\/section.cfm?section=news&amp;news_ID=8897\">Click here <\/a>for a video of Coach\u2019s Chapel Talk reflecting on his 47 Years as a Coach .<\/p>\n<p>Steve graduated from Ball State University.\u00a0 After coaching in Greensburg and Centerville, he began his educational career at Southmont Jr.-Sr. High School in 1977, including assistant principal and athletic director at South Montgomery High School and junior high principal.\u00a0 He also coached wrestling, baseball, and elementary school football.\u00a0 In 2012, he served as interim principal at New Market Elementary School.\u00a0\u00a0Steve is the father of Kelley House \u201990.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations, Steve!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Steve House has been appointed the new executive director of the Crawfordsville\/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
