That’s Steven Prunier ’09<\/strong> and his father Mike ’72<\/strong> at Friday’s Celebration of Student Research. Steven was presenting on his research on the use of non-metallic chemical compounds for chemical reactions requiring a pure output (OK – that’s a fighter pilot translation, to be sure!)<\/p>\n

Mike Prunier said that’s exactly where the field is headed and he should know – he is a research chemist!<\/p>\n

I came away impressed by Steven’s ability and admiring the strong connection and love of chemistry between father and son. I also came away proud that our guys are doing this level of research.
