Eric Eversole \u201994<\/strong>, Executive Director of the Military Voters Protection Project<\/strong>, <\/strong>was featured in a July alumni blog.\u00a0 Drew Dettmer \u201915<\/strong>, who worked as an intern for Eric this past summer, sent us this link of Eric on FoxNews today \u2013 click here <\/a>to see the interview.<\/p>\n

Drew connected to his internship as Social Media Coordinator at MVP Project\u00a0through the\u00a0Schroeder Center for Career Development.\u00a0 The internship was\u00a0made possible\u00a0by the alumni- funded Small Business Internship Program.\u00a0 Drew’s\u00a0responsibilities included\u00a0managing\u00a0the site’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts and researching military voting for articles.<\/p>\n

Drew reported:\u00a0 \u201cEric ’94, a long-time advocate for military voting rights, is a U.S. Navy JAG officer who served on active duty from 1999 until 2001.\u00a0 He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 1998.\u00a0 He continues his service in the U.S. Navy Reserve and holds the rank of Commander. While at Wabash he was a brother of the Sigma Chi house and played football for the Little Giants.<\/p>\n

The MVP Project, a service of the Legacy Foundation, is dedicated to promoting and protecting our military members\u2019 right to vote and ensuring that their votes are counted on Election Day. Utilizing media, education, and litigation, the MVP Project fights to ensure military voters have an opportunity to register, request an absentee ballot, and cast a vote regardless of their location in the world. The MVP Project fights as hard for their rights as they fight to protect our rights.\u201d<\/p>\n
