Marc Overhage \u201979<\/strong> is one of three physicians who received a third place award from the International Society for Disease Surveillance for their article detailing a Regenstrief Institute study of emergency health care.\u00a0 Marc is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medical.siemens.com\/webapp\/wcs\/stores\/servlet\/PressReleaseView~q_catalogId~e_-1~a_catTree~e_100011,13839~a_langId~e_-1~a_pageId~e_139115~a_storeId~e_10001.htm\">Chief Medical Informatics Officer <\/a>at Siemens Healthcare.\u00a0 He was the founder of the Indiana Health Information Exchange and the former director of informatics at the Regenstrief Institute, Inc. before joining Siemens.<\/p>\n<p>Marc received his Ph.D. in biophysics and his M.D. from the IU School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. J.
