He was a research geneticist at the University of Minnesota from 1991 through 1995.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\">At Lyon College, Gregerson administered a 15-person division with duties including curricular planning, course scheduling, budget planning and management, and faculty and student recruitment and retention.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\">He is the recipient of Lyon College&#8217;s 2004 Williamson Prize for Faculty Excellence and was named Arkansas Professor of the Year in 2003 by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement and Support of Education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\">Gregerson holds a Ph.D. in molecular genetics from the University of Georgia and a B.A. in biology from Wabash College.&quot;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\"><b>Congrats Bob!<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bob Gregerson, Class of 1985, has been appointed head of the biology department at Armstrong Atlantic State University.
