It&#8217;s also a time for families to get a chance to see where Dad went to College.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif'\">I caught this young family at, of course, the Pioneer Chapel.<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif'\">In the course of every campus tour, formal or informal, the Chapel is a magnet. I am not quite sure what it is, but there&#8217;s a need, I think, for all of us to come back and to make sure the rocks of Wabash &#8211; Center Hall, the Chapel, the Mall &#8211; don&#8217;t change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif'\">These &quot;rocks&quot; anchor the rest of our lives, in many ways.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif'\">I still remember the location in the Chapel of my assigned seat as a freshman &#8211; do you?<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Big Bash is, first and foremost, a chance to get together with old friends and swap tales of yesteryear.
