Carolyn Goff<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Carolyn Goff – Senior Administrative Assistant to the President – hung up her pen and keyboard yesterday. \u00a0A crowd well beyond a packed house gathered at Caleb Mills House to wish Carolyn and her husband Gary a great retirement.<\/p>\n

I am pretty sure if you look up “style” and ”grace” in your Funk and Wagnalls, you’ll find Carolyn’s picture there.<\/p>\n

Carolyn got a big surprise when Andy Ford H’03 and Anne Ford H’06, Wabash’s 14th President and First Lady, arrived. \u00a0I think I heard Carolyn gasp and I was in the next room. \u00a0As everyone knows, many of Carolyn’s years in the President’s office were working with Andy.<\/p>\n

The reception was a fun affair. \u00a0Folks laughed and laughed as they recounted the “good, old days” and numerous stories – I even heard mention of the very secret Friday ritual of the Chicken Dance!<\/p>\n

Deb Woods, wife of the Director of Security Rich Woods, is Carolyn’s replacement. \u00a0They’re different folks in some ways but the smiles and the love of Wabash remain the same.<\/p>\n

And that’s what it’s all about.<\/p>\n
