He joined the faculty in 1988 as an assistant professor. By 1994 he was a professor of law, and in 2021 he was appointed as the Charles Weigel II Research Professor of Conflict of Laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rensberger graduated <em>cum laude<\/em> from Wabash and enrolled at Indiana University School of Law, where he graduated <em>magna cum laude<\/em>. Throughout his education, he felt drawn to teaching, which is ultimately where he ended up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While at Wabash, he was an English major and a member of Phi Delta Theta.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jeff Rensberger \u201980 has been appointed interim president and dean at South Texas College of Law Houston.
