His position is a new one, created as part of a new downtown development plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inkfreenews.com\/2024\/07\/19\/sweeney-helping-with-coordinated-effort-as-main-street-warsaw-development-director\/\">He is focused on MSW\u2019s four pillars: \u201corganization, promotion, economic vitality and design.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He worked at the Kosciusko Economic Development Corp. as project director from August 2022 to May 2023. Previous positions included vice president of real estate development for Indianapolis Downtown Inc., executive director of the Corpus Christi, Texas Downtown Management, and president and CEO of the Downtown Lexington, Ky. Partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Wabash, Sweeney majored in political science with a minor in economics.
