He began this role in January 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As intern, Campbell is responsible for assisting the conference office in all aspects of media relations, championship administration and conference operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are excited to welcome Isaiah to our team,\u201d HCAC Commissioner Jay Jones <a href=\"https:\/\/heartlandconf.org\/news\/2023\/1\/9\/general-campbell-joins-hcac-staff.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said a news release<\/a>. \u201cHis Division III background paired with his experience will help us to better serve our HCAC family.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Campbell was previously the basketball communication intern for the NBA\u2019s Indiana Pacers organization. In his time with the Pacers, he focused on developing a long-term communication plan, specifically tackling social media strategy. Campbell also helped developed daily storylines and worked closely on the communication efforts for the NBA Draft and Free Agency process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I am truly thankful for this opportunity to work alongside Jay, Stacey, and the other great Division III athletic administrators,&#8221; Campbell said. &#8220;As a former Division III athlete, I have a burning passion for Division III athletics, and couldn\u2019t have asked to be in a better position. I\u2019m extremely excited to be a part of the new wave of collegiate athletic administrators.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Campbell is a graduate of Wabash College where he earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in political science and business. He went on to earn his master\u2019s degree at the University of New Haven in Sports Management, where he also served as the Graduate Assistant for Corporate Sponsorships and Relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While at Wabash, Campbell was a football and track and field student-athlete, where he was a team captain.
