William Reinke <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

William Reinke ’52 has been included in Marquis\u2019 \u201cWho\u2019s Who in America\u201d for 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho\u2019s Who\u201d has chronicled the lives of the most accomplished individuals and innovators from every significant field of endeavor, including politics, business, medicine, law, education, art, religion and entertainment since 1899, according to a news release<\/a>. Today, \u201cWho’s Who in America\u201d remains an essential biographical source for thousands of researchers, journalists, librarians and executive search firms around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accumulating more than six decades of experience as a distinguished trial attorney, Reinke has since retired from his role of counsel from Barnes & Thornburg and Predecessors in South Bend, Indiana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the course of his career with the firm, he notably helped found the team in 1957 and subsequently served as a partner and chairperson of the management and compensation committee, according to the news release. During his tenure, Reinke also had the opportunity to travel throughout the country trying cases and counseling clients in matters of bankruptcy, personal injury, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He co-authored his first book, “A Hoosier Trial Lawyer’s Notebook: 40 Years at the Bar”, with Austin Reinke, in 2019 and published “Random Thoughts of a Hoosier Trial Lawyer” in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reinke is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Saint Joseph County Bar Association and the American Judicature Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was named as the South Bend Outstanding Young Man of the Year in 1961 and as the South Bend Boss of the Year in 1979. He also received the Wabash College Richard O. Ristine Award in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reinke graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Wabash College in 1952 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Chicago Law School in 1955. While at Wabash, he majored in psychology and was a member of Delta Tau Delta.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
