He originally started as a part-time communications cpecialist through funding from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. GIFT VII Implementation Grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI love working closely with the community and having a positive influence. I look forward to working with area schools and organizations,\u201d Rowles said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winchesternewsgazette.com\/news\/introducing-luke-rowles-community-foundation-of-randolph-county-s-new-program-officer-donor-relations-communications\/article_16f5201a-1660-11ec-b33a-77f44fd32df2.html\">report by The Winchester News-Gazette.<\/a> \u201cI am impressed with the way this organization affects so many different groups and people in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rowles grew up in nearby Portland, Indiana, and graduated from Jay County High School in 2015. Receiving Jay County\u2019s Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship, he went to Wabash where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2019 with a liberal arts degree in social psychology and nonprofit business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While at Wabash he was a member of Delta Tau Delta, Student Senate, Sons of Wabash, and the Wabash Acts Responsibly Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRandolph County is a wonderful place,\u201d Rowles said. \u201cI look forward to serving and working with this community.
