Photographing Professor Rick Warner this week as he taught a course on Identity and the History of Food, I was reminded of our travels together to Chiapas and Kenya during Wabash immersion experiences. Warner won the College’s top teaching prize this year —he’s innovative, genuine, passionate, knowledgeable, and he truly enjoys being with our students. Teacher. Brother. Father. I’ve watched him “cook” with our students literally around the world. In gratitude for the pleasure of witnessing that remarkable work, here are a few images from this week in Crawfordsville, several years ago in Kenya, and one from even further back with the Wabash Cooking Club!
