This year he shares the Coach of the Year honors on the second annual Goshen News All-Area Girls Basketball team. His co-recipient is the girls’ head coach at Goshen High School – the coach who almost hired Doug as his own assistant coach before Doug went to Northridge.  Click here for the news story. Doug was a family law attorney before he went back to school to eventually become a teacher and coach.

Doug played football and worked in the sports information office and as an NCAA stats intern at Wabash. He earned his JD from Valparaiso University Law School, and returned to school to earn his teaching degree.
