Brian Caplin PhD ’89 “stumbled into scientific research while on his way to medical school and a career as an ophthalmologist. Brian is founder and Chief Science Officer at Fluoresentric, Inc., a company that develops new techniques and processes, including “XCR. “ After Wabash, Brian earned a PhD at Indiana University School of Medicine, Biochemistry and molecular biology and then studied molecular genetics at Ohio State University.
