The Wabash College Pre-Health Society and Pre-Law Society are honored to welcome back Dr. Timothy McDonald ’79 for a lecture:  At The Brutal Interface Between Medicine and Law.  The lecture will be held in Hays Hall 104 on November 19th at 7:00 pm.  All are welcome.

Dr. McDonald is currently a Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. After graduating from Wabash in 1979, Dr. McDonald went on to earn an MD from Indiana University School of Medicine and a JD from Loyola School of Law.

His federally funded national research projects are in the reduction of patient harm, medical liability, and alternative dispute resolution. In his opinion, his liberal arts undergraduate education at Wabash provided the ideal foundation for this important work.
