Geoffrey McKinney ’12 was a theater major at Wabash.  Since graduation last spring, he has made his Indianapolis theater debut depicting the role of Man in Alien Dinner Party at Theater on the Square in Indianapolis, and he just finished up the Booth Tarkington Civic Theater production of “The Fox on the Fairway” in Carmel.  “Fox,” a tribute to English farces, takes place on a golf course in “a tale about love, life and man’s eternal love affair with golf.”  This production of “Fox” set a record at Civic for the highest grossing non-musical ever!

At Wabash, Geoffrey appeared as Gonzalo in The Tempest and Hamm in Endgame. He also directed two student- written one act plays and contributed three of his own one act plays which were performed in the Wabash College One Acts.  In 2010, he participated with a group of Wabash theater students in presenting a reading from Theater Professor Dwight Watson’s production of Terra Nova.  They traveled to the American National History Museum exhibition special program devoted to explorers Roald Amundsen and Robert Falcon Scott, the two men who raced “to the end of the earth,” reading from Amundsen’s book and from Scott’s journals, which were found after his death.

We’re looking forward to your next production, Geoffrey!
