Roy plays the leading male role in The Penny Seats theatre company’s “She Loves Me”, running July 26-28, August 2-4, and August 9-11 in the outside West Park Bandshell in Ann Arbor, MI.

“In this classic musical, two workplace rivals spend their days bickering and their nights falling in love as secret pen pals, while their quirky coworkers deal with a spate of other problems. Said to have “one of the best scores…in musical theater,” the show is based on the play “Parfumerie,” which was also adapted cinematically three times: “The Shop Around the Corner” with Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan, “In the Good Old Summertime” with Judy Garland and Van Johnson, and “You’ve Got Mail” with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.”

For his day job, Roy is Vice President of Marketing at Trott & Trott, a loss mitigation company for the real estate finance industry.  In addition to being a Wabash alumnus, Roy was also an alumni affairs officer in the Advancement Office for two years after graduation.  Break a leg, Roy!
