Phil Purcell J.D. ’81 has been named to the board of directors of the Central Indiana Land Trust.  The Trust works to preserve natural areas, improve air and water quality and enhance life in Indiana communities for present and future generations. 

Phil is the Vice President for Planned Giving and Endowment Stewardship at the Ball State University Foundation.  He earned a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington in 1985.  Phil’s career has also included positions in consulting for philanthropic and community foundation fundraising, and as adjunct faculty at Indiana University, Notre Dame University, and The Fundraising School.  He is an active member in the Association of Fundraising Professionals –Indiana (AFP) and other professional philanthropic organizations.
